About Me

Software Engineer!

Born in Porto, Portugal, I studied Software Engineering at ISEP. My main goal during college was to conciliate work and studies to gain experience and knowledge at the same time.

Even before I finish my bachelor's degree, I completed a Project Management course with the final mark 17.

I ended my bachelor's degree with an internship at Natixis and currently I'm working as a Software Engineer at Critical Manufacturing.

I'm a junior Software Engineer that is motivated to learn and improve his skills. I love an amazing work environment so I can give a lot of my personality and experience. As a Software Engineer, I'm always searching for errors or things to be improved. I can say that I am a little bit perfectionist!

OutSystems Developer

In my last bachelor's degree year I worked at Sogrape as an OutSystems Developer. With this experience I improved a lot my soft skills being my first professional experience as a Developer. I learned how to work with OutSystems and improved my JS and SQL skills.

Website Developer

I started to develop websites and I'm passionate for making this beautiful and attractive. This website was design and coded by me and I'm currently working to a client developing his store's website - e-commerce website: Galeria de Sto Andre.

Latest Projects

Road Network

College project where I connect Node.js and .NET. I used Azure and Mongo (relational and not relational DB). I connected Prolog rules to it to generate some data using AI. It had the front-end developed in Angular connected with the Node.js and .NET modules. This program was about a truck company that had to calculate routes to deliver all their packages to the clients. We used Three.js to generate the streets and the warehouses where the trucks should deliver.

OutSystems Developer

While I was an OutSystems developer I developed mainly 2 applications: aCarta and Weather Stations. aCarta is a online application where clients can create their restaurant menu and generate QR Codes to print them and use it as a digital menu in their restaurant. Weather stations was an internal application at Sogrape to help the farmers and the managers to study the weather conditions for a specific station/farm. Before I finish, my manager liked my weather stations app and asked me to do a weather predictions app. Here I used also API, SQL and Charts to show the data the better possible.

Python + Angular

I did an intership in Natixis to work with Python, Angular, SQL, Kafka and ElasticSearch. I developed an internal application about a chain monitoring showing the errors of different departments.

Website

I developed my personal website (portfolio) working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

E-Commerce Website

I developed an online store for a client. It has payment method working.

.NET + Angular

At Critical Manufacturing I used Agile methodologies. I worked with C# (.NET framework) and Angular. I can confirm that I improved a lot my backend experience and even more my frontend experience. With this experience, my business comprehension improved.
